Melissa Amanti Pollock, MSN, APRN
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Melissa was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Haiti and South Florida. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Florida State University in 1996, and worked as a charge nurse in Intensive Care for 3 years before returning to graduate school. Melissa graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Florida State University as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner in the year 2000. She worked in primary care for 6 years prior to specializing in the field of cosmetic dermatology/aesthetics in 2006. In 2016, Melissa was asked to become an ACE injector trainer for Allergan. She trains physicians, nurse practitioners and physicians assistants on various Allergan products such as Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm, Voluma, Vollure, Volbella and Kybella.
Mrs. Pollock is a published author. Having led and conducted her own research study, her results and analysis of the study were published in the Journal of Perinatal Education.
Melissa is a certified Candela Laser and IPL operator, specializing in photorejuvenation, laser skin tightening, laser vein/lesion treatment, and laser hair removal. She holds certifications in Advanced Aesthetics; and in advanced BOTOX® injection techniques. She has extensive training and experience in a multitude of cosmetic dermatologic procedures such as on and off label neurotoxin and filler injections (facial contouring, cheek augmentation, hand rejuvenation, and lip augmentation).
Melissa is fluent in Spanish and has working knowledge of Haitian Creole, French and Italian.
She currently resides in Jupiter, FL with her husband and children.
Dr. Daniel L. Kapp, M.D.
West Palm Beach Plastic Surgeon Daniel L. Kapp, M.D is a board certified surgeon, who was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He received his Bachelor's Degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia and his Medical Degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Kapp was a clinical instructor in general and plastic surgery at Ohio State University College of Medicine, an Anastasi Fellow in plastic surgery and a junior faculty member at Boston University Medical Center. He has chaired or participated in several medical committees, and has made medical presentations and written papers on subjects of reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries.
Dr. Kapp has received awards in surgery and pharmacology including the Ohio State University Department of Surgery Research Award, Ohio State University Medical Director's Award, Upjohn & Pharmacia Award in Pharmacology and the Honors Award in Surgery, from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He holds medical licenses in Florida, Massachusetts and Ohio.
Returning to Florida in 2004, Dr. Kapp joined Palm Beach Plastic Surgery Center, the highly successful practice of Dr. Richard Schwartz. Dr. Kapp performs all types of plastic and reconstructive surgeries, but specializes in breast reconstruction, skin cancer reconstruction, breast enhancement, body contouring and facial rejuvenation.
Dr. Kapp performs procedures in his office and at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Jupiter Medical Center, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and Columbia Hospital. He also devotes time to patients within the Wound Care Center at Jupiter Medical Center.
Dr. Kapp is a member of both the American Medical Association and the Palm Beach County Medical Society. He is currently Chief of Surgery at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and he serves as a board member of the Center for Creative Education, a West Palm Beach-based community organization that brings arts and cultural curricula to students in Palm Beach County. Dr. Kapp currently resides in Jupiter, Florida, with his wife and their three children.
